                            Further re suspension

The Future Network plc announces that its shares were suspended earlier today
in order to prevent a false market developing ahead of a significant
refinancing announcement.  Future is in advanced discussions with respect to
this refinancing and expects to be in a position to make a further
announcement shortly.  The company's shares continue to be suspended pending
this announcement.

The interim results for the six months to 30 June 2001 will be announced
immediately.
