                     RECENT SHARE PRICE MOVEMENT


The Future Network plc ('Future', 'the Company') (LSE: FNET) has noted the
recent upward movement in its share price.



Future continues to review its alternatives relating to its capital structure,
including capital raising from existing or new shareholders, asset sales, and
a possible sale of the Company.  Future is involved in discussions with a
number of parties in relation to potential transactions of this nature.  There
can be no guarantee that any such discussions will result in concrete
proposals.



Market conditions remain challenging, as noted in the circular to shareholders
dated 14 June 2001, relating to the disposal of Business 2.0.
