                       Futura Medical grant of options


Futura Medical plc (the 'Company'), the AIM-quoted pharmaceutical drug and
medical device group that develops innovative products for the sexual healthcare
market, announces that the Board of the Company has today granted options over
ordinary shares of 0.2 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') to the following directors
of the Company at an option exercise price of 76 pence per share (being the
closing mid-market price yesterday):

No consideration was paid for the grant of these options.


The period during which the options granted today are exercisable is from 1
April 2007 to 31 March 2009.
