    THE TRUSTEES OF THE PADDY POWER plc EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST



On 7 March 2007 the Trustees of the Paddy Power plc Employee Benefit Trust,
purchased 260,000 Ordinary Shares of euro 0.10 each in Paddy Power plc at euro
19.50.



The Trust was established by Paddy Power plc to implement the terms of the Paddy
Power plc 2004 Long Term Incentive Plan approved by shareholders at the Annual
General Meeting on 22 June 2004.
