                            Appointment of Director



Subsequent to the announcement made by the Company on 15 June 2006, regarding
the proposed acquisition of Nika GmbH (Nika) and the Extraordinary General
Meeting held on 5 July 2006, the board is pleased to announce the appointment of
Wolfgang Biedermann, aged 44, as a director of the Company.



Wolfgang Biedermann is CEO of Pricap Venture Partners AG ("Pricap), which prior
to the acquisition by Flomerics, was the largest shareholder in Nika. Pricap is
a venture capital company and has a portfolio of investments with a net equity
value of approximately €35 million.  He studied in Paris, Oxford and Berlin at
the EAP, the European School of Management and achieved a BA and achieved an MBA
with distinction from the Harvard Business School.



Wolfgang Biedermann's continuing directorships over the past five years are as

In addition, in his capacity as a venture capital investor, Mr. Biedermann was a
non-executive director of the privately held early stage company Extr@com AG,
Munich, when it went into receivership in December 2003 and of the privately
held early stage company Scorpion Technologies AG, Hamburg, when it went into
receivership in April 2006.

There are no other matters to be disclosed in relation to Schedule 2, paragraph
G of the AIM rules.
