a notification has been received on 22 August 2000 from FMR
Corp, 82 Devonshire Street, Boston, MA 02109, USA in which
they advise that FMR Corp and its direct and indirect
subsidiaries and Fidelity International Limited (FIL) and its
direct and indirect subsidiaries, both being non-beneficial
holders, have a notifiable interest in 5,092,410 Ordinary
shares in the share capital of Filtronic Plc, representing
7.07% of the Ordinary capital.
