EXERCISE OF OPTIONS

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of antennas, filters and mmWave products for the wireless telecoms and critical communications markets, announces that certain employees of the Company have today exercised of options over 1,122,666 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 6.31 pence per Ordinary Share.

Application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 21 November 2018.

The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of the Company. Following the exercise of options, the Company's issued share capital consists of 208,128,947 Ordinary Shares. Accordingly, the figure of 208,128,947 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
