Filtronic plc notifies that it has mailed to shareholders its annual report and
financial statements for the year ended 31 May 2005, together with the Notice of
Annual General Meeting to be held on 30 September 2005 at The Marriott Hotel,
Hollins Hill, Baildon, Shipley, BD17 7QW.

A copy of the annual report, the Notice of Annual General Meeting and the Form
of Proxy have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be
available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility
