Pursuant to our Listing Agreement, you are hereby notified that Peter J.
Pestillo has been elected Chief Executive Officer of Visteon Automotive Systems
effective January 1, 2000. Mr. Pestillo will continue as a Corporate Officer
of Ford Motor Company until he is formally elected by Visteon Automotive
Systems, at which time he will no longer be an officer of Ford. John M.
Rintamaki has been elected a Group Vice President of the Company effective
January 1, 2000. Mark Fields has been elected a Vice President of the Company
effective December 1, 1999 replacing James E. Miller who will retire at year
end. Jan A. Bertsch has been elected an Assistant Treasurer of the Company
effective immediately.

Also, Ross H. Roberts and Ronald E. Goldsberry will retire at year end.
