7 June 2013 - Experian plc announces that Sir Alan Rudge (aged 75) has notified the Company of his intention to retire as Deputy Chairman/Senior Independent Director and as a Director of Experian plc on completion of the process to appoint a new Chairman, which is being overseen by the Experian plc Nomination & Corporate Governance Committee, chaired by Sir Alan.

The Company announced on 1 May 2013 that Sir John Peace would step down as Chairman by the 2014 Annual General Meeting, to be held in July 2014.  

Sir John Peace, Chairman of Experian, said:

"I have had the good fortune to work with Sir Alan Rudge for many years, and I have always placed great faith in his experience and his soundness of judgement, sentiments which I know are echoed by my colleagues on the Experian plc Board. On behalf of Experian, I would like to thank Sir Alan for his considerable contribution, and we wish him a long and happy retirement."
