Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (" The Company") received notification
today from Reliance Mutual Insurance Society Limited that it had sold a total of
1,000,000 Ordinary shares in the Company on 7th and 10th October 2005. As a
result of the aforementioned transaction Reliance Mutual Insurance Society
Limited holds 3,108,247 Ordinary shares which represents 3.85% of the Ordinary
shares in issue.
