ISSUE OF EQUITY


On 10 October 2006, European Assets Trust NV sold 100,000 of its Ordinary Shares
held in treasury at a price of £8.75 each.  Following this transaction, there
are 16,120,238 shares in issue and there are 2,360,000 shares held in treasury
since the implementation of the liquidity enhancement policy.
