The Company was notified on 6 February 2004 by The Capital Group Companies, Inc.
('the Capital Group') that following the Company's allotment of ordinary 5p
shares ('Ordinary Shares') on 26 January 2004 the Capital Research and
Management Company, an affiliate of the Capital Group, has an interest in
2,233,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 2.20 per cent. of the issued Ordinary
Share capital.
