International Brand Licensing PLC 03 October 2003 EMBARGOED: 0700hrs, 3rd October 2003 International Brand Licensing Plc ('IBL' or 'the Company') Exclusive licensing agreement with Asda Stores for its Admiral brand International Brand Licensing Plc is delighted to announce that it has entered into a new agreement with Asda Stores to become its exclusive Admiral licensee for the UK mass market. The agreement will commence this coming autumn and will see Asda develop ranges of Admiral branded apparel, footwear, luggage and equipment, which will be merchandised throughout its stores on a National level. Asda, which is part of Walmart, the world's largest retailer has been able to grow its George fashion brand to an annual turnover in excess of £1 billion, and it will be utilising its extensive design and sourcing facilities to manage the Admiral brand development. Lance Yates, Chairman of IBL, commented: 'This agreement represents a major step forward for the Company in its home market. In addition to the incremental revenues that we will generate, it will also significantly enhance the visibility of the Admiral brand.'
