Buy-back of ordinary shares
On 8 July 1999, The Edinburgh Investment Trust plc bought back a further
500,000 ordinary shares for cancellation at an average price of 514.8p.
Following the buy back, there are 289,098,471 ordinary shares in issue. The
share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.
