The latest time and date for acceptance and payment in full under the terms of the Rights Issue was 10.30 a.m. on 8 July 2002. As previously announced, the total number of Rights Issue Shares to be issued in the Rights Issue is 104,428,223, of which 104,405,503 are underwritten. The Company announces that valid acceptances have been received in respect of 103,914,875 Rights Issue Shares, representing approximately 99.5 per cent. of the Rights Issue Shares offered by way of rights. The Underwriters will be seeking to procure subscribers for the remaining 513,348 Rights Issue Shares.
