easyJet plc announces the appointment of a new Group Finance Director  

easyJet plc announces that Chris Kennedy will join the Board of easyJet plc as Group Finance Director. Chris joins from EMI Music where he has had a successful career covering a range of international roles including Chief Financial Officer. Chris brings great experience of working within a high profile international, fast changing consumer facing business, strong financial skills and a demonstrable track record of delivering operational improvement.

Chris Kennedy's joining date will be confirmed in due course but is expected to be Summer 2010. Mark Adams, Interim Chief Financial Officer will continue with the Company to ensure a smooth transition.  

Sir Michael Rake, Chairman of easyJet plc, commented:
