Ray Webster, easyJet Chief Executive, said:

'During April, easyJet took delivery of its 37th Airbus A319 taking its fleet up
to 100 aircraft. easyJet operates more aircraft than any other European low cost
airline. The airline also announced the establishment of Basel as a base airport
with five destinations added, making it easyJet's second base in Switzerland and
the 15th base in Europe. Five routes were also added from Bristol.

'Taking into account the effect of Easter falling in March rather than April
this year, underlying market conditions have remained unchanged. easyJet will
report its interim results on 24th May.'

airline, and once a flight has departed a no-show customer is generally not
entitled to change flights or seek a refund. Earned seats also include seats
provided for promotional purposes and to staff for business travel.

available for passengers. No weighting of the load factor is carried out to
recognise the effect of varying flight (or 'stage') lengths.

3. Represents unaudited statutory revenue, which includes the invoiced value of
airline and ancillary services, net of passenger taxes and discounts.
