easyJet PLC

                           easyJet plc ('the Company')


Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange for 500,000 ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be admitted
to the Official List.


These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued
pursuant to the easyJet plc Pre-flotation Share Option Scheme.


All employees employed by the Company as at 31 July 2000 with 3 months minimum
service are participants in this share option scheme.


It is expected admission will be granted on 29 December 2005 and that trading
will commence on 30 December 2005.


When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary
shares.
