Mark Wheeler becomes Global Chief Operating Officer

Driver Group, the global professional services consultancy to construction and engineering industries, announces the following changes to its global leadership team.

David Brodie-Stedman, who has led the growth of the Asia, Middle East, Africa (AMEA) region over the last two years, has stepped down from his position as COO-AMEA with immediate effect to pursue other business opportunities. Mark Wheeler, previously COO-Europe and Americas (EuAm), will take on the new operational role of Global Chief Operating Officer, also with immediate effect.

Commenting on the management changes, Gordon Wilkinson, Group Chief Executive, said:

"The Board is grateful for all that David Brodie-Stedman has done to develop our business in the AMEA region. We wish him and his family every success and happiness in the future.

In his new role as Global Chief Operating Officer, Mark Wheeler will be responsible for integrating the EuAm and AMEA regional businesses. Mark will also continue to play a key role in the ongoing repositioning of the Group and in delivering the Board's objective of returning all offices to profitability."
