Quarter 3 Interim Management Statement 

13 weeks to 28 September 2008

Domino's Pizza UK & IRL plc ('Domino's Pizza' or 'the Company' or 'the Group') today announces its first Interim Management Statement following its admission to the Official List. This statement covers the period from 30 June 2008 to 28 September 2008, the latest practicable date prior to its publication. Financial data is for the 13 week period to 28 September 2008 ('the period') unless otherwise stated.

Following on from its half year results, the Group has continued to see strong momentum in the business. System sales for the 13 week period were up 17.8% to £83.3m (2007: £70.7m). This brings total system sales for the 39 weeks to 28 September 2008 to £253.5m (2007: £213.2m), an increase of 18.9%.

Like-for-like sales in the 449 mature stores (2007: 404 mature stores) for the period were up 8.8% (2007: 14.1%), bringing total like-for-like sales growth for the 39 weeks to 28 September 2008 to 10.5% (2007: 14.6%).

Store openings have also progressed well with a further nine openings during this period, bringing the total number of stores opened in the year to date to 34 (2007: 29 stores). Our store opening programme is on track to achieve our target of 50 new store openings this year. The Group had 535 stores at 28 September 2008, including one store temporarily closed for refurbishment at the reporting date.

Chris Moore, Chief Executive commented: 'Trading in the third quarter has continued strongly and is particularly encouraging given the strong comparatives during the same period last year. We are very pleased with the momentum in the business and the resilience of our business model during these more challenging economic times.'
