DNO International ASA - Extension Option Contract

On 7 April 2008, DNO extended an American call option contract on
40.000.000 DNO shares with a strike price of NOK 2,50 per share. The
new expiry date is 7 July 2008 and the option premium paid is NOK
0,0756.

Following this transaction, DNO holds 23.873.960 treasury shares. In
addition, the Company holds options for purchase of 80.000.000 DNO
shares.
