Acal plc, the leading value-added distributor providing specialist design, sales
and marketing services for international suppliers in the field of Electronic
Components, I.T. Products, I.T. Parts Services and Industrial Controls,
announces that Richard Allen is leaving the Acal Group. Accordingly he has
resigned as a Director of Acal plc.

Richard's executive responsibility for Acal's UK Electronic Components business
will be taken over by Steve Sydes who is currently the Managing Director of Acal
Technology Limited.

Tony Laughton, Chief Executive of Acal commented:-

contribution over the past five years and wish him well for the future".
