De La Rue plc - Directors' Dealings

De La Rue plc ('the Company') has received confirmation on 2 March 2000 that
Mr Nicholas Brookes, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased 8,000
Ordinary Shares of the Company on 29 February 2000 at a price of US$4.3382 per
Ordinary Share.

Following this transaction Mr Brookes' total shareholding in the issued
Ordinary Share capital of the Company is 13,950 Ordinary Shares.
