DCC PLC 25 March 2002 25 March 2002 STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT DCC plc Board and Board Committee Appointments DCC plc, the business support services group, announces that Mr Maurice Keane has today been co-opted to the Board as a non-executive director of the Company. Mr Keane was Group Chief Executive of Bank of Ireland until 28 February last and was Deputy Group Chief Executive from 1991 to 1998. He continues to be a member of the Court of Directors of Bank of Ireland and is Chairman of Bristol & West plc. Mr Keane was responsible at various times during his earlier career at Bank of Ireland Group for the bank's Corporate, Treasury and International businesses, for Group Financial Control and Credit Control, for technology development and for a range of subsidiary businesses including Asset Management, Life Assurance, Corporate Finance and Stockbroking. DCC also announces that Mr Tony Barry, a non-executive director, has been appointed Chairman of the DCC Board Remuneration Committee and Mr Paddy Gallagher, a non-executive director, has been appointed Chairman of the DCC Board Audit Committee, both with effect from 25 March 2002. Mr Barry is a member of the Court of Directors of Bank of Ireland and is Chairman of Greencore Group plc. He was Chairman of CRH plc from 1994 to May 2000, having previously been Chief Executive. Mr Gallagher is former Head of Legal and Pensions Administration at Guinness Ireland Group and is a former Chairman of the Irish Association of Pension Funds. He is Chairman of the Trustees of An Post Pension Fund and a member of the Committee of Management of the Irish Pension Fund Property Unit Trust. DCC also announces that, in line with its policy to rotate the position of Senior Independent Director, Mr Maurice Keane has taken over the role with effect from 25 March 2002.
