    DCC receives OFT clearance for the acquisition of CPL Petroleum Limited


DCC plc ('DCC') announced on 20 July 2007 that it had reached conditional
agreement to acquire CPL Petroleum Limited, a leading oil distribution business
in Britain. The acquisition was subject to inter alia clearance from the UK
Office of Fair Trading.

DCC has now received clearance from the UK Office of Fair Trading for the
acquisition. DCC expects to complete the acquisition shortly.
