City Natural Resources High Yield Trust plc announces that it repaid £8m of its £20m borrowing facility yesterday, 17 June 2009, reducing the facility to £12m.

The Company is left with £6m of cash on its balance sheet and its effective gearing is 6 per cent.

The Company continues to review its gearing strategy and short term borrowing arrangements.
