                             HOLDING(S) IN COMPANY


Pursuant to section 198 of the Companies Act 1985, the Board of Coral Products
Plc (the 'Company') has received notification that further to the purchase of
3,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company yesterday, Peter Gyllenhammar is
beneficially interested in a total of 5,666,120 ordinary shares which represent
28.02 per cent. of the Company's total issued share capital.

The interest is held as to 3,086,000 shares by Bronsstadet AB and 2,580,120
shares by The Union Discount Company of London Limited.
