Acquisition of Shares by a Director

The Conygar Investment Company PLC ('the Company') advises that it received notification on 11 June 2008 from Peter Batchelor, Finance Director, that he had purchased a total of 25,000 ordinary 5p shares in the Company at a price of 175p per share on 10 and 11 June 2008. Following this transaction, his holding in the Company is now 150,001 ordinary 5p shares representing 0.36% of the total voting rights.
