Appointment of Irish Broker

Conroy Diamonds & Gold PLC 7 June 2001 CONROY DIAMONDS AND GOLD APPOINTMENT OF IRISH STOCKBROKER Conroy Diamonds and Gold P.l.c., the AIM listed Irish exploration Company, whose recent discovery of gold in County Armagh has significantly enhanced the prospectivity of its Armagh-Monaghan gold belt in Ireland, has appointed Dolmen Butler Briscoe ('Dolmen') as Irish stockbroker. Dolmen, whose staff includes a mining analyst, will assist Conroy in creating liquidity and broadening its shareholder base and will issue a full quarterly research note on the Company. UK Stockbrokers, Seymour Pierce and Seymour Pierce Ellis, will continue to act as Nominated Adviser and Nominated Broker respectively to Conroy for the purposes of the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange where over the last month the Company has finalised significant private placement fund raisings giving it adequate cash to pursue its current exploration objectives.
