Substantial shareholding

The Company was informed on the 16 March 2005 that Western Selection, as a
result of the allotment of 565,734 ordinary shares under the recent open offer,
is interested in 2,873,998 ordinary shares of 10 pence each, representing 8.23
per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

Mr. D.C Marshall, Chairman of Creston Plc, is deemed to be interested in this
transaction as he is also a director of Western Selection.
