                             Director's Shareholding

The issuer has advised that the following amendment has been made to the
Director's Shareholding announcement made under RNS No 6417W on 17 March 2004 at 
2.21pm.

The announcement now refers to 'Mr Nigel G Clark' and not 'Nigel G Bates' as
previously stated.

Further to the previous announcement, the board of the Company is pleased to
announce that on 17 March 2004, Nigel G Clark was also granted, for nil
consideration, options over 15,000 ordinary 5p shares ('Ordinary Shares') at an
exercise price of 335p per Ordinary Share under the Company's Share Option Plan.
These options are exercisable from 17 March 2007 to 17 March 2014.

In addition to these grants Mr Clark holds options over 4,750 Ordinary Shares at
an exercise price of 292.5p.
