Issue of Equity

CMC Markets plc, ("CMC" or the "Group"), a leading provider of online trading, announces that it has issued 700,000 new ordinary shares of 25p each to satisfy vesting of awards under the Group's Management Equity Plan 2015. 

Application has been made for the 700,000 new ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities. It is expected that trading will commence on 15 July 2021. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Group.

At admission the issued ordinary share capital of the Group will consist of 291,417,473   shares.  The total number of voting rights in the Group will therefore be 291,417,473. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator to determine if they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in, the Group under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
