BFS Small Companies Dividend Trust PLC

The Company was today notified that following the admission of Premier
Recovery Trust plc to the Official List on 21 December 2001 they have
purchased 800,000 Ordinary shares of the Company. As a result Premier Recovery
Trust plc now hold 800,000 Ordinary shares of the Company, representing 5.08%
of the issued share capital.
