Elektron plc (the "Company") was notified on 1^st December 2010 by Downing Corporate Finance Limited that, following the appointment of Downing Corporate Finance Limited as the Discretionary Investment Manager of the CF Downing Active Management Fund (previously called CF Acuity Real Active Management Fund), it has increased its holding to 3,666,295 ordinary shares.  This holding represents approximately 3.45% of the total voting rights in the Company.
