Retirement of Non-Executive Director

Chariot (AIM: CHAR), the Africa focused transitional energy company, announces that Robert Sinclair, a Non-Executive Director who has been on the Board of Chariot for over 14 years, will retire with immediate affect due to health reasons.

George Canjar, Non-Executive Chairman, commented:

"I would like to thank Robert for the considerable contribution he has made to Chariot during his years of service. He leaves the Company in a strong position, on the back of our highly successful drilling campaign at the Anchois gas project within the Lixus licence, offshore Morocco. On behalf of the Chariot team, we wish him all the best for the future."

Adonis Pouroulis, Acting CEO of Chariot, commented:

"Having worked with Robert at Chariot for many years, I am sad to be announcing his retirement today. He has added a considerable amount of value to the Board since joining the Company and he leaves us on a high, following our discoveries on the Lixus Licence earlier this month. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Robert over the years and I hope to see him enjoy his retirement."
