Centaur Media plc (LSE: CAU, "Centaur") notes the announcement made this afternoon by Geoffrey Wilmot that he is no longer considering an offer for Centaur.

Accordingly, Centaur is no longer considered to be in an offer period for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
