Catalyst Media Group PLC 11 October 2004 11 October 2004 Catalyst Media Group plc announces new US distribution deal with Microsoft's MSN Video Catalyst Media Group plc ('Catalyst Media' or 'the Company'), the leading provider of services supporting the distribution of audio-visual content on digital platforms, today announces an alliance with Microsoft's MSN Video to provide a new broadband-specific programme called 'This Week in History'. The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. 'This Week in History' offers visitors to the MSN Video news website coverage and commentary on historic n news stories drawn from the Catalyst Media archives. These include TV content spanning the twentieth century from the Company's Newsplayer.com catalogue of historic clips; interviews with world leaders and celebrities conducted by Sir David Frost, and movie-related documentaries comprised of film trailers, celebrity interviews and profiles of the stars. Catalyst Media will incur minimal production and editing costs. MSN Video is a free on-demand service offering news, sport and entertainment programming. The service is entirely subsidised by streamed advertisements accompanying the clips.
