The Company was notified yesterday, that following the recent placing of 
ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), Canada Life Group 
is now interested in 30,000,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 4.81% of the issued 
ordinary share capital of the Company.

The beneficial owners of the shares are as follows:
