                   John Radcliffe Hospital PFI contract visit

Carillion is hosting a visit for analysts and investors today to its John
Radcliffe Hospital PPP project. The visit will provide background information on
the project and no significant new information will be included. A copy of the
presentation that will be made during the visit will be placed on Carillion's
website later today.
