The Cardiff Property PLC

The board of The Cardiff Property plc announces that on 22 May 2003 the Company
purchased 10,000 of its own ordinary shares of 20p each at £5.13 per share. The
shares acquired are to be cancelled.

The Company also announces that on 22 May 2003 Richard Wollenberg, a director of
the Company, purchased 1,000 ordinary shares of 20p each at £5.13 per share.  As
a result of this transaction Mr Wollenberg has an interest in 446,298 ordinary
shares representing 21.93 per cent of the Company's current issued share
capital.
