Notice of EGM

Equatorial Palm Oil plc, (AIM: PAL), the AIM listed palm oil development company with operations in Liberia, announces that notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM"), to be held at the offices of Pelham Bell Pottinger, 5th Floor, Holborn Gate, 330 High Holborn, London, WC1V 7QD on Monday 9th July 2012 at 10.30 am, was today sent to shareholders. The purpose of the EGM is to seek shareholder approval to update the relevant board authorities to allot the Company's shares.
