Leopard Rock added to PGA's Prestige Collection

LonZim PLC (AIM:LZM) announces that, following on from the acquisition of the Leopard Rock Resort ('Leopard Rock') by LonZim, Leopard Rock has been admitted to the Prestige Collection of the world's leading golf resorts, endorsed by the PGAs of Europe.

The Prestige Collection comprises hand-picked selection of the worlds leading golf resorts including leading courses such as Celtic Manor (home to the 2010 Ryder Cup), Druids Glen, Le Touessrok and Aphrodite Hills. Each resort is selected against rigorous criteria of quality standards for the excellence of the golf course, level of accommodation as well as cuisine and hospitality.

As well as the international recognition this brings to Leopard Rock, member resorts are granted privileged access to databases containing over 200,000 travelling golfers from the UK and Europe.  Leopard Rock will also have dedicated pages on the Prestige Collection's website and be advertised in many of Europe's leading golf publications.

David Lenigas, Chairman of the Company, commented as follows:

'Leopard Rock's seal of approval from the Prestige Collection, endorsed by the PGAs of Europe, further emphasises its importance to the golfing community as one of the best known golf resorts in Southern Africa. It also furthers LonZim's strategy in supporting the economic recovery of the tourism sector in Zimbabwe by attracting new international visitors to the country.'

David Ward, Managing Director of Prestige Collection commented:

'The Prestige Collection is delighted to welcome a resort of the quality of the Leopard Rock to its collection of the world's leading courses. Since 2006 we have introduced over 10,000 golfers to our partnership golf resorts across the globe and we look forward to working with LonZim to put Leopard Rock back on the international golfing map .'
