- under the BT Executive Share Plan, a technical interest in 6,003,166 shares
held in the name of Ilford Trustees (Jersey) Limited, together with all
employees of BT plc, as discretionary beneficiaries of the BT Employee Trust;
and

- under the BT Performance Share Plan and the BT Deferred Bonus Plan, a
technical interest in 2,943,791 shares held in trust in the name of Ilford
Trustees (Jersey) Limited, together with all employees of BT plc, as
discretionary beneficiaries of the BT Trust No. 2.
