The Brunner Investment Trust PLC announces that on 28 November  2003 it
purchased 165,000 Ordinary 25p Shares, (representing 0.29% of the issued class
of capital), at 261p per Ordinary Share, for cancellation.

Settlement and cancellation of the purchased 165,000 Ordinary Shares is due on 3
December 2003 when the issued share capital of the Trust will fall to 54,975,416
Ordinary 25p Shares.
