The British Land Company PLC announces the following transaction in the
Company's Ordinary Shares of 25p by a director of the Company which were
notified to the Company on 14th February 2000:-
The purchase by Mr P W Simon of 3,032 shares at a price of 329.75p
per share on 10th February 2000.
