Brave Bison Group plc ("Brave Bison" or "the Company")

CEO Appointment and AGM Statement

Brave Bison, the independent digital media and social video business, is pleased to announce that Claire Hungate will be joining the Company as Chief Executive Officer.

Claire brings a wealth of experience in the media and entertainment industry, and is a proven business leader in the sector. Claire joins from Warner Bros. Television Production UK, where she is Managing Director. She was previously COO of AIM-quoted Shed Media PLC, seeing the company through its acquisition by Warner Bros in 2010, and before then was Managing Director of Wall to Wall Ltd, which was acquired by Shed Media PLC in 2007. Claire's prior roles in the industry include running the commercial operations of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, and as head of business affairs for production company and talent agency Princess Productions. Claire is a non-executive director of reach4entertainment enterprises plc, the AIM media and entertainment company.

Robin Miller, Chairman of Brave Bison, said: "I am delighted that Claire has chosen to join Brave Bison and further the Group's efforts to create value as the owner and operator of captive video content. Claire has an excellent track record in working in the UK creative industry, alongside her digital strategy experience of forming and developing relationships with companies such as Facebook and Google. This gives the Board confidence that she can deliver strong and profitable growth. At this stage, I would also like to thank Kevin Deeley, Chief Operating and Finance Officer, who has taken on the interim responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer since January 2017. As a result of Kevin's efforts, the Company has progressed towards our goal of being a high-margin and profitable business while making strategic investments to support long-term growth, including the recently launched Yellowstone Studios and Rebel FC."

Claire Hungate said: "At a dynamic time for the global content market, Brave Bison is on an exciting journey to becoming a formidable force in modern media. The focus on social video, quality content and powerful distribution places the business within one of the fastest growing segments of the industry. Content is still king and distribution has become queen; the creation and distribution of owned intellectual property provides a high-value route to further content monetisation opportunities. I thoroughly look forward to joining."

Claire Hungate commences her executive role and joins the Board of Directors in September 2017.

AGM Statement

On 18 May 2017, following an approach from Zinc Media Group plc, Brave Bison announced that preliminary discussions had taken place in respect of a possible combination of the two companies. After an assessment of the benefits that might be achieved from the combination, it was concluded that it would not be in the best interests of either Company. Brave Bison continues on its strategy to grow as an independent business moving from a third-party technology provider to a social video broadcaster, developing new intellectual property and reducing reliance on low margin legacy business.

Current trading is in line with management and market expectations.

The Group intends to publish its 2017 Interim Results in the week commencing 31 July 2017.
