Swallowfield announces that it was informed yesterday that Miss Teresa White,
Group Sales and Marketing Director, sold 10,318 ordinary shares in the Company
at a price of 67.5p each on 27 September 1999 and immediately purchased 10,318
ordinary shares in the Company through an Individual Savings Account in her
name, also at a price of 67.5p each. Accordingly, Miss White's interest in
the Company's ordinary shares remains unchanged.
