Swallowfield plc announces that it was today informed that Mr Richard Organ,
Non-Executive Director, purchased 1,250 shares in the Company at a price of £
1.00 per share on 22 March 2001.  Mr Organ is now deemed to be interested in
180,790 shares in the Company, representing approximately 1.6 per cent. of the
issued share capital.  The Company was also informed that Ms Jennifer
Bryant-Pearson, Non-Executive Director, purchased 1,250 shares in the Company
at a price of £1.00 per share on the same date.  Ms Bryant-Pearson is now
deemed to be interested in 11,250 shares in the Company, representing
approximately 0.1 per cent. of the issued share capital.
