We write to inform you that on 14th September 1999 we were informed by Dr J.G.S.
Buchanan that his wife has transferred 105 BP Amoco Ordinary Shares to their
daughter, Kirsty Buchanan by way of gift and 100 Ordinary Shares to their son
Sean Buchanan, by way of gift. Both transactions took place on 10th September
1999.
